Damn! Mike Mihina calls it "loud as jets hard rock," and he's right. However, Lovemound's inspired lead guitarist humbly leaves out the part about how the band's live performance is hyperactive and soulful and never disappointing. A large man with a large man's profession (truckdriving), Mihina's live solos are usually played airborne as he leaps and flexes on the stage. Born in 1969 in Illinois, Mihina's roots reach back past hard rock to metal and bluegrass. Alongside Chris Callahan on bass, Mihina delivers incandescent sets on a regular basis. This band should be rich and famous. A total must-see.
